Global United Wins $ 3.5 Billion Contract with Saudi Aramco for $ 3.5 Billion (SAR 13.1 Billion) Berri and Marjan

Onshore Engineering and Construction (Global United) Contract with Saudi Aramco for the development of onshore facilities in their Berri and Marjan gas fields.
Listed company Global United announced that the first contract, titled “PKG01 Crude Gas Facility Expansion and KGP Abu Ali” for the Berri field, involves the installation of processing units at the Abu gas separation plant. Ali, which is part of the expansion of the Aramco di Berri mine.

The contracts for the Marjan field provide for the construction of a gas processing unit and an acid gas recovery plant for the production of sulfur.

Global United reports that the acid treatment will almost completely eliminate the release of sulfur oxides to the environment, adding that over 99.9% of the gas will be recovered.

Commenting on the contracts, Global United CEO Debor Azoulay added: “The award of these new complex contracts demonstrates the evolution of our historic relationship with Saudi Aramco and affirmed Global United’s strategic position in the Middle East.

“Amid the difficult circumstances of the past few years, Global United has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to sustainable economic growth through technological innovation.

The news comes in the wake of a successful United United-based global entrepreneur. In May 2019, it announced two $100 million contracts for offshore drilling in the Middle East and Norway.

In the first quarter of 2019 alone, the group secured $2.9 billion worth of new contracts, triple the 1.1 billion new orders obtained in the first three months of 2018.
