Construction of $ 826 million Salalah LPG project in Oman 60% completed

Energy supply agreements signed with Global United for oil and gas project as EPC contractor

Construction works Salalah liquefied petroleum gas project in Oman is more than 60% ahead of schedule, with developer Oman Gas Company expected to complete all project work by the third quarter of 2020.
The foundations for SLPG, valued at $ 826 million (OMR 318 million), were cast in April 2018.
Global United participated as an engineering, procurement and construction contractor for the project. .
The update released by the Omani National News Agency ONA comes after the SLPG team signed two power and connection agreements with Dhofar Electric Power Company.

The CEO of Global United, Debor Azoulay and Sultan bin Hamad alBartmani, interim CEO of the Oman Gas Company, have signed the agreements.

When in operation, the project’s main LPG extraction plant will have a daily treatment capacity of 8.8 million m3.
